The International Club kicks off the year with a fun and dynamic career coaching workshop focused on assertiveness! Join this workshop and improve your assertiveness and self-confidence. Using powerful tools such as nonviolent communication and personal branding, learn to define and embody your own leadership style. Develop an authentic and meaningful presence!
Workshop presentation
This workshop will give you tips for improving your assertiveness and gaining self-confidence. Through practical exercises, you’ll learn how to use nonviolent communication to resolve conflicts and build your personal brand. You’ll leave with turnkey solutions to practice your own leadership style.
Goals
- Provide advice on how to improve assertiveness and self-esteem. Show how to overcome imposter syndrome.
- Learn the basics of personal branding.
- Help students find their own leadership style.
Program Summary
1. Gain assertiveness and self-confidence. Self-confidence: innate or not? What posture for greater self-confidence? How to become assertive? Manage conflicts assertively and non-violently.
Practical exercise: Practice resolving conflict assertively using non-violent communication (NVC).
2. Improve your leadership. Essential qualities of a good leader. Different leadership styles. How to overcome imposter syndrome. What is a belief? Free yourself from your limiting beliefs. Use your resource beliefs to succeed.
3. Use personal branding for career success. Identify your core values. Value your uniqueness. What is the flow state and how to take advantage of it? Develop your emotional intelligence and soft skills.
4. Improve your self-confidence and leadership step by step. Set SMART goals. Small steps method. Surround yourself with the right people.

Veronika Salnikova: Career Change and Development Coach, Digital Marketing Consultant
Originally from Latvia, Veronika Salnikova arrived in Paris in 2005 for an Erasmus exchange program.
She decided to continue her studies in France, and in 2009 graduated with a Master’s degree in Marketing from Paris-Dauphine University.
She has built her career in the digital marketing sector and has been working in this field for 14 years. Throughout her career, she has worked with major French and international companies such as SNCF Connect, Air France, and EDF.
In 2019, she decided to broaden her skills by training as a coach. She completed the Coach Académie training program and was certified as a practicing coach.
For the past five years, she has worked as a professional coach and trainer. She speaks several foreign languages. Her international culture and open-mindedness are her strengths, enabling her to offer her clients non-judgmental, compassionate, and results-oriented coaching.
She offers individual coaching, as well as dynamic conferences and workshops for businesses. Her favorite topics are self-confidence, optimizing self-presentation tools (CV, pitch, LinkedIn profile), and developing soft skills for career success.
