Language Immersion

Find in this section resources to facilitate your language immersion in Paris.

Language Immersion is a Must

Every year, Paris welcomes a growing number of foreigners who come to study or work in the capital. In 2023, more than 430,000 foreign students were enrolled in higher education programs in France, according to Campus France. This is complemented by a significant population of international professionals.

While English is increasingly prevalent in France, fluency in French remains essential for full integration, both personally and professionally. Not to mention all the other languages spoken in the capital: Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, German, Italian, and more.

In this article, the Club International de Paris offers you some useful places to improve your language of choice.

But first, we invite you to read our article “How to Promote French Language Immersion.” .
