We stand for Handisport
June 2025 – Our Participation in the Handisport Open Paris
The Club International of Paris was proud to take part in the Handisport Open Paris last week — an event that perfectly reflects the values of inclusion and diversity we stand for.
This inspiring competition brought together talented athletes from around the world in a spirit of performance, unity, and cultural exchange.
Our members’ presence helped highlight the international dimension of the event by supporting athletes of all nationalities and fostering meaningful intercultural connections. Beyond the athletic achievements, it was the celebration of diversity and the meeting of differences that truly defined the week.
We firmly believe that sport is a powerful driver of inclusion and openness, and we’re proud to have contributed — in our own way — to making the Handisport Open Paris such a moving and memorable experience.
Join us in continuing to promote a vision of sport where every talent has its place!
March 29, 2025 – Introduction to Wheelchair Basketball with the Association
The International Club of Paris, in partnership with the association Communiquer et vivre le handicap (CVHG) in Gennevilliers, organized an introductory wheelchair basketball session at the Édouard Vaillant gymnasium.
Six months after the excitement generated by wheelchair basketball during the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, the public had another opportunity to discover this spectacular sport.
Led by players from CVHG’s Hurricane 92 team, 14 participants of five different nationalities explored the practice of wheelchair basketball. It was a fun and enriching experience, filled with meaningful exchanges with high-level athletes.
