#1 Language Exchange Workshops (Members' Favorite Activity)
Every week, the Club organizes french-english language exchange workshops. Every other week, french-spanish language exchange workshops.
This activity takes place in a friendly atmosphere with conversation topics chosen by the participants. The workshops are structured as follows: the first hour is spent speaking in French, and the second hour is in English, Spanish, Arabic, or German.
#2 Cultural Tours of Parisian Neighborhoods
Twice a month, the association offers a tour of a Parisian neighborhood (Montmartre, Le Marais, the Latin Quarter, etc.).
Organised by French Tourism professionals or guides specialized in art history or history, you’re sure to discover a different side to the French capital.
#3 Cultural tours of museums, monuments, or exhibitions
The city of Paris is home to a multitude of museums and monuments that bear witness to its glorious history. This is why the International Club regularly invites its members to explore an exhibition, a monument, a show, or a museum to appreciate the artistic and cultural heritage, both past and present, of the city of Paris. This cultural activity fosters social interactions and exchanges.
#4 Hiking Tours
The Île-de-France region is brimming with trails waiting to be explored. Each month, the International Club of Paris offers a nature hike. This unique “well-being” activity is truly focused on conversation and exchange with participants from all over the world.
#5 Friendship Café
To get acquainted with new members, the International Club organizes a dedicated meeting in a Parisian tea room.
#6 Gourmet Walks
Since a country’s culture is also discovered through its cuisine, the International Club of Paris organizes gourmet gatherings.
The activity’s principle: a club member takes the others to a typical restaurant to introduce them to the cuisine of their country.
#7 Movie Debates
Once or twice a month, the Club International gives you a meeting place for a “movie debate”. We go together to see a film, then we find a café in order to discuss the film. This is a chance to have a good time together but also is, for our foreign friends, an excellent occasion to practice their French.
#8 Country Discovery Evenings
Once a month, one or more members of the Club present their country to others through photos, stories, songs, films, costumes and typical food dishes…
#9 French-English Theatre Workshop
Through texts (plays, skits, movie scripts, short plays…), you can come perfect your French and English language practice, always in a friendly and international environment. The theater workshops has the same principle as the conversation workshops (one hour in French – one hour in English).
#10 Picnics
When the nice weather arrives, we leave to picnic in the beautiful parks and forests in the Parisian region.
#11 Parties
Members find themselves at themed events (dance parties, bars, karoake bars, concerts,…) to meet new members, discuss the upcoming activities and obviously to have a good time!
#12 Tours / Excursions
These allow the discovery of the richness of the French heritage through visits to the cities and monuments. Castles, historical cities, museums, modern and ancient monuments will be areas to visit. Regularly, the Club members take a weekend or a day to discover the riches of the regions of France.
