About us
Our Missions
The International Club of Paris is a non-profit organization, established in 2002, aimed at improving the welcome conditions for international students and promoting cultural exchanges and friendships between French people and internationals staying in Paris.
Alain Homsi, president and founder of the organization, recalls his own difficulties as a foreign student coming to France to study at a film school in Paris.
Noticing the lack of associations that enabled newly arrived international students in Paris to meet Parisians and French students, Alain and a friend started organizing informal gatherings to allow students to meet and explore the city together. This group continued to grow, leading to the official creation of the association in 2002.

Our Story
The Club is 22 years old!
The International Club was founded in 2002 with the mission of facilitating the integration of international students arriving in Paris, offering them the opportunity to discover new cultures and share their own.
Rapid Growth
The International Club quickly established partnerships with prestigious universities, language schools, and cultural institutions. On the eve of the global pandemic, the network had more than 10,000 members worldwide.
A Slowdown
During the pandemic, the association maintained contact with its members by organizing virtual activities such as language exchange workshops and lectures on art history and the history of Paris.
The Rebirth of the Association
In September 2023, in-person activities resumed, marking a fresh start for the 2024-2025 season.
